Things that I like or like to do

OK so here's a random list of things I think are interesting, valuable or important.

Cooking - yummy food, curries, pasta, soups, salads and all those wonderfully photographed books!

Photography - as a boomer I'm old enough to have printed in both colour and black and white using the 'old' wet technology and young enough (in mind and body) to have embraced 'digital' hurrah Canon for my trusted EOS 350. Wait till I get some photos up on here.

Music - what a way to tell a story.... have just got back into listening to Black Sabbath, they were never a favourite band, but as a DJ I played them, came to respect what they did and they are on my iPod. Check out Tift Merritt, wire daisies, Jayhawks, John Coltrane for starters.

Alto Saxophone - I pick it up and play for a few weeks, hit my learning threshold and need to find a tutor to move forward - is this the time and the place? Bristol, UK based tutors?

Motorcycling, surfing, skiing and sailing - such a buzz!

Computers and in particular web 2.0 another sea change,

This list is incomplete - there is so much more to add, but this will do for now.

Baby Boomers Blog

Isn't it nice to belong? By that I mean, I have an identity - I have a blog, I am a baby boomer - hurrah! Should I be excited, hell I don't know. I have no idea where this may lead but it has to be worth a try - so much more fun that being sat gazing at a TV watching someone elses world ideas. Hmm, back to work - I have my annual assessment to review ahead of my performance review meeting next week. Still before then chance to journey home to Cornwall visit the family and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. 300307
